Fee Schedule

booksInitial Consultations : We offer free initial consultations with our attorneys. During initial consultations we will discuss the services provided by KENTRIS, COLEMAN & ARTHUR, LLC, and the associated fees and costs.

Retainers and Hourly Rates : If you and we agree to work on an hourly basis, our attorneys will assess your billing needs and arrange a reasonable retainer fee for you. Retainers are a sum of money clients pay before the start of work. We hold such retainer in trust for the client, and subtract our hourly fees and costs from such retainer fee. Our Hourly Rates are between $150 and $200 per hour, depending on the matter. Call for a consultation to discuss our hourly rates and retainer fees.

Contingency Billing: If you and we agree to work on a contingent fee basis, our firm receives a percentage of the amount of money collected for you. This is common in personal injury and wrongful death cases, where the client does not pay an attorney’s fee if no money is recovered, although the client must still pay the out-of-pocket costs and expenses associated with the case . However, when there is a monetary recovery for the client in those cases, our firm receives a percentage of the money collected.

Examples of costs and expenses include the following:

•  Court Filing Fees
•  Deposition expenses (court reporter attendance and transcription fees)
•  Expert witness fees
•  Process Server Fees
•  Obtaining a Title Report
•  Overnight Courier Service (e.g., Fed-Ex)
•  Registered and Certified Mail fees
•  Bulk Photocopying (over 100 copies)
•  Telephone calls outside of the USA

Statutory Fees : With this type of fee, the amount of the fee is determined by a particular statute, law or court rule, such as probate fees.
